BRIDGETOWN real estate agent Trudy Clothier is delighted to be a part of a unique club after receiving an award for sales exceeding seven million dollars in the 2014/15 financial year.

Mrs Clothier is the Principal at Blackwood Valley Real Estate in Bridgetown and has out-sold herself, having been recognised two years in a row for the Real Estate Institute of Western Australia (REIWA) awards.

In the 2013/14 financial year, Mrs Clothier won membership into the six million dollar club with sales of $6,476,500. This year she sold $7,729,000 worth of real estate, allowing her membership into the seven million dollar club.

Mrs Clothier has been working at Blackwood valley Real Estate for eight years, becoming a partner in the business two years ago and taking over as Principal 12 months ago. She said the market is slowly improving in and around Bridgetown.

“The market is still moving at a steady rate and we have had quite a few properties under offer in the past couple of weeks,” Mrs Clothier said. “We are still selling lots of properties so listings are dropping slowly.”

In her spare time, Mrs Clothier volunteers at the Blues at Bridgetown Festival, is a medic for Camp Quality camps, is coordinator of the Winter in Bridgetown Festival and is an Ambulance Officer and Trainer at St John Ambulance in Bridgetown.
