Oberon Rugby League Tigers first division side’s season is over after going down in the final against Orange CYMS last Sunday 24-6.

Oberon first division coach Dallas Booth said CYMS took all the opportunities thrown at them on the day.

“Oberon had their chances but we didn’t come through with the goods,” he said.

Mr Booth said he will be coaching first division again next season.

“With the club in negotiations with some new players, it will only strengthen our first division side,” he said.

President of Oberon Tigers Rugby League Club Ian Christie Johnston said the club will be rebuilding for the 2016 season with the signing of a few new players while retaining its current players.

Mr Christie Johnston said there will be a few announcements in the next few weeks to let club members know where they are heading in 2016.

Oberon Tigers’ presentation night is on September 19 at 5.30pm at the Leagues Club. RSVP to Debbie Christie Johnston by September 14 on 0427 361 128.
