Drive-through drunk gets licence suspended

Manager Matt Walton said last night’s manager could only move himout of the drive through after police showed up.

He said the drunk verbally abusedstaff.

“It’s pretty rare we have an incident where you have to get the police involved,” Mr Walton said.

“But they came instantly once we called them.”

Acting Inspector Matthew Hinton said they approached a 24-year-old Hllidays Point man about 8.20pm last night (September 9) at the Forster McDonald’s.

Act Insp Hinton said the man’s blood alcohol level was 0.158 per cent, more than three times over the legal limit.

The man was issued with a suspension notice and will appear at Forster Local Court on October 7.
