Narooma students impress at Club Muzo

STUDENT NIGHT: Music teacher Merinda Antill on stage with Ali Casu, who was one of the stand-out Narooma students. NAROOMA High School has done it again this year with a line-up of very talented music students who performed to a large audience at Club Muzo at Club Narooma this month.

Students from Years 9, 10 and 11 performed first up with a great selection of songs – all girls this year – accompanied by music teacher Dan Efraemson and Harry and Hayden on drums and bass.

Next up was the HSC students Ali Casu and Samantha Sly from Narooma High and Ashley Hogan from Moruya High, who totally captured the audience with their HSC pieces, which they all performed with incredible talent, style and confidence. Wow!

Harry and Hayden and music teachers Merinda Antill, Dan Efraemson and John Hoorweg accompanied the girls and there is no doubt the music students of Narooma are in good hands.

“Malumba”, consisting of John and Dan, finished the night with a few gorgeous tunes.

The audience was treated to a very special night of music.

Best wishes to the HSC students in their approaching exams.

Thanks to all the wonderful Narooma students and families, the great audience, Wayne Redman on sound and Club Narooma for continuing to support live music.

Next Club Muzo will be this Friday, September 11, with a line-up of bigger kids. All welcome.
