IT MAY not feel like it just yet, but winter is over and spring is in the air.

Residents have reported multiple sightings of swans and cygnets in and around Lake Wendouree.

Ballarat dwellers can look forward to warmer weather with the Bureau of Meterology predicting a top of 18 degrees on Saturday, 21 degrees on Sunday and 19 degrees on Monday.

Don’t get too excited for summer just yet –because in typical spring fashion, temperatures are expected to plummet to 13 degrees on Thursday and 11 degrees on Friday.

While some will love the spring weather, one in seven people will get hayfever.

Commonly impacting 25 to 44 years olds, Canberra has the highest rate of hayfever.
