CDs, DVDs and cash were stolen from vehicles in Deakin Avenue, Stockdale Court, Kookaburra Court, Eulinga Drive and Dr Ambramowski Court some time after 10.20pm on Tuesday, and witnesses have described a group of men acting suspiciously in the area at the time.

Mildura police Senior Constable Alica Birtles said police believed the group was also responsible for the theft of a Holden Rodeo ute, which has since been recovered, from McLaren Court.

The six streets where the offences occurred run between Deakin and Walnut avenues, from Thirteenth to Fifteenth streets.

Sen-Constable Birtles said a few owners were alerted to the incidents when their dogs began barking, with another reporting their dog had chased the men.

Police believe the thieves operated between 10.20pm on Tuesday and 7am on Wednesday, and anyone with information on the alleged offenders is urged to come forward.

The first man is described as 180cm tall, thin build with a light-coloured hooded jumper and basketball runners.

The second and third men are described as being of thin build and wearing black hooded jumpers, with some reports of a fourth man in a dark hooded jumper.

Anyone with information should contact Mildura police on 5018 5310 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
