Police allege a car rolled after the driver failed to negotiate a bend on the Riversdale Rd and Cornwells Rd intersection.

The driver, a woman in her late 30s and her child were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

AN 80-year-old cyclist escaped with only minor injuriesafter he was reportedly struck by a car in Sale on Tuesdaymorning.

Police said the man, from Seaspray, was travelling southalong York St when he was hit by a car at the Foster St andYork St roundabout about 8.30am.

He was taken to hospital with minor injuries.Police said the collision is under investigation.

A 25-year-old Sale man was issued with three penaltynotices last week after he was allegedly caught riding adirt bike in Sale.

Police alleged the man was riding an unregisteredmotorcycle, was driving unlicensed and wasn’t wearinga helmet.

A ROSEDALE family had a lucky escape after its homewas extensively damaged by fire early Wednesday.

Emergency services received the call about 4.15am andfire crews from Rosedale and Traralgon responded, bringingthe blaze at the Nelson St home under control just before5am. Nobody was injured.

The fire is not considered suspicious, but the exact causeis yet to be determined.
