DESPITE Leeton-Whitton’s A grade side being knocked out of the finals series last weekend, the club still has two teams remaining in the battle for premiership glory.

A grade were defeated by Narrandera last weekend 60-49 and their season is now done.

“I thought we battled hard throughout the game,” coach Caryn Deaton said.

“We were carrying a lot of injuries into the game and it was probably a four-minute lapse that cost us in the end.”

For the Crows C grade side it was a different story on the weekend, with the team defeating Turvey Park 48-30 and progressing straight through to the grand final.

B grade weren’t as lucky, going down toMCUE 53-37.

The side will get another bite at the cherry this weekend when they play Wagga Tigers for the final grand final spot.
